This site presents professional and academic art therapy activities in Israel . It was set up by Dr. Ronen Berger for the use of the community.

 

The Art as Therapy Conference is a creative gathering of the Israeli arts therapy community. This three day event has been held near the Caesarea beach every alternate year since 2010.

In a format that is more akin to a festival than a conference, it aims to develop the therapist and strengthen the connection with his/her inner artist. It focuses on his/her experience and not only on presentation of methods, theories or clients needs. The conference includes collective rituals and creative gatherings, lectures, indoor and outdoor workshops in all art therapy methods, performances and exhibitions, body-mind workshops at sunrise on the beach, and  time to be and create together and alone, at the beach and in the studio.

The next conference will be held from May 31 to June 2, 2018 as an international event. Art therapists from around the world are cordially invited to join this creative celebration.
