הסדנה תזמין את המשתתפים להכיר את גישת ודרך העבודה שפיתחתי במשך שנות עבודה רבים, שמתבססת על שימוש בחפצים משומשים וממוחזרים ושמוצגת בספרי HOLY JUNK.
הגיבורים המרכזיים בסדנה שלנו הם אותם חפצים אבודים, מצויים ודחויים, המשקפים את התרבות האנושית, כמו ספרים משומשים. אנחנו מוצאים אותם במרתף, בעלית גג, במחסן, ברחוב, ובזבל. ניצור יש מיש. בסדנה נשתמש בהם אותם ליצירה עכשווית, לאוטוביוגרפיה חדשה. נתמודד עם הפרדוקס - איך הפיכה של דבר אחד לדבר אחר יכולה להיות רבת משמעות וטרנספורמטיבית.

HOLY JUNK – HOLY BOOKS?
Workshop inspired by the book HOLY JUNK
Led by: Judith Siano
In this workshop you are kindly invited to dive into a sensual experience with books who indeed are worthy partners for a dialogue one with the other or one with oneself. You will be introduced into a method I have developed during many years of Art Therapy, reusing and recycling thrown away objects, descripted in my book HOLY JUNK. The protagonists are those same lost, found and rejected objects, used books in our workshop - as they are presented in human culture. We can find them in basements, attics, sheds, in the streets or junkyards. We will create something out of something and transform it into our new autobiography.
We shall cope with a paradox: Sometimes something written in a book doesn't make sense to us, but transferring it into something else could be very meaningful.
Judith Siano, MA: is a registered art therapist and supervisor and was in the years 2002-2017 chair of the Israeli Association of Creative and Expressive Therapies Ethics Committee. Judith Siano taught at the university of Haifa/Israel 1987-2016 and works in an art therapy studio with clients and therapists. She lectures on trauma, adolescence, and ethics in therapy and has published articles in professional journals in Israel and abroad and co-produced three art therapy documentary films
Her book "HOLY JUNK – LOST, FOUND AND REJECTED OBJECTS IN ART THERAPY" was published in Hebrew and in English
